ABOUT THE LOCATION

|
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) reserve at Bempton cliffs has the largest concentration of breeding seabirds on the English mainland. The species to be found here include Guillemots, Razorbills, Black-legged Kittiwakes and my favourite the Atlantic Puffins. Although there are thousands of birds, and you can get quite close, photographing them will still require a long lens of at least 400mm and even longer for a full frame shot. The cliffs are very steep, with an almost vertical drop in places, and you will probably take your best shots from the viewing platforms along the cliff-top path. |
